Milk, Leche, Whatever its called in SK

I was talking today with Chloe, and one of the absurd topics was the amount of milk I actually drink.  I told her to name foods which she did not think milk should go with: spaghetti, pizza, sandwiches, steak, etc.  She believes milk is only reserved for cookies, PB&J, and cereal.  Obviously I have a more liberal philosophy.  So, I was wondering what milk will be like in South Korea, or if I would even want to drink it at all, given the amount of soju I will probably be ingesting.

I did just wiki milk in Korea, and I found this page from the Seoul Milk Co., Ltd ( 서울우유).  Apparently this company does not sell outside Korea, which makes me interested in what it actually tastes like.  Milk in Spain was much different than the US, not pasteurized, sold in liters, and kept warm until opened.  It was strange when I first saw it, but became accustomed and enjoyed the taste.  It especially mixed well with Cola Cao.  Actual webpage here.  I miss that voice; listen to it and just imagine drinking your chunky, chocolate, Cola Cao.  Everyone seemed to be having so much fun when they drank Cola Cao, and they could drink it anywhere.  They loved to show commercials of people drinking chocolate mild on the beach, something I would never due thanks to the heat.  LOL check out that page, I have the commercials running in the background as I type…I’m reminicing….I enjoyed the regular Cola Cao, which made little chunks of chocolate which did not completely mix into the milk.  Much more fun than the lite or vitamin versions.

Anyways,

Looks like I’m not without hope when I go to Guangju :-)
